Day 6

November 6th: I am thank for Olivia Mae.

Two months ago, God blessed us with the most beautiful, precious baby girl. It was a rough delivery but worth all of the pain. This morning at work I told a co-worker that I am pretty sure that we skipped a week and a half, at least, somewhere in these last two months! It has just gone by way to quickly.

Right before I left the office, I got a text from Mike, "I taught her it's funny to stick her tongue out. She laughs when I stick mine out". LOVE!! It is so wonderful to see them bonding.

We are definitely facing new challenges in our lives but she has brought so much joy. I also do not think I have seen friends or family so much in such a short amount of time! It's alright, we know you all are just wanting to see her... it has nothing to do with us. HA! Just kidding! Well, maybe for some ;)

She is oo-ing and goo-ing more these says. We are working on little laughs. My boss told me today that she tries really hard to never say, "I can't wait for _____ to be over!" or "I can't wait for him/her to do _______!". I think that is great! Learning to enjoy every moment. After all, today is only today for today. We will never live it again. NO REGRETS. We are trying to soak it all in while trying to not watch it go by through from a lens.

Boy does she change from day to day! I was just scrolling through all of the pictures I have of her and sometimes I feel like it is not my baby in the photos. I cannot wait to see how much she grows in the next month.

You see, people ask me if I can remember life before Olivia and my answer is yes. The question should be, "do you want to go back to life before Olivia?" and my answer is no. She completely our family at this point in time. She was not a planned baby... for us anyway. I believe that God did plan her and has a wonderful plan for her. We love you Olivia Mae! Thank you for putting up with two weirdos for your parents as we navigate this crazy ride called life!

Short. Sweet. and to. the. Point.

She was totally not amused by my photography today :)

Bath time!

One smile.... but not at the camera. I still love it!
Not amused...

"Really mom???"
Meet the Atwaters
Well, this is the whole family <3

My friend Saralyn is hopefully going to come over this weekend and take some cute photos with a real camera. I am still waiting for the ones she took at 1 month and will post them as soon as I get them. I love that she is so good at looking directly at the camera... maybe too good!

Going for that thumb!

Goofy Goober!

You cannot see it all that well but in the picture above there is a black flower clipped, yes clipped in her hair. It will not be long before I can braid it and put it in a ponytail!

She is waiting for me in bed so I should probably get there as she has a day filled with traveling with mom to the office and Whitworth.
