Back Online!

It has been about 2 1/2 weeks since I last blogged. That is a lot to back track through so I will not be doing that. Through that time we took two different trips to the west side and then down to the San Francisco.  My plan is to share the trips with you all over the next couple of days. And don't worry! There will be lots of pictures :)

This weekend, the three Atwaters were back together again! Olivia has slept with us last two nights and we love to snuggle as a family. Yesterday we went and took family photos... that was quite the ordeal! Remind me to never have photos done in December. Last night, a couple of Mike's friends came over to visit. Baby girl didn't stay up long enough to really meet them. She did end up waking up to eat. but she was crabby because she is a morning girl like her mommy. Today we just spent at home watching football :)

SIX MONTH PAJAMAS! This girl has long legs

Thank you Great Grandma Nunes for the blanket! <3
 We set this mirror up today for her to look at herself. She was getting really close to pushing herself forward with her legs and and then at another point rolling over! It is crazy how time is flying. We are excited to watch her grow and hit her milestones.

Can you tell they are related??

It has been a good weekend. Relaxed and ready to go for this next week! I did pretty good last week with getting up and going to work. This week I have a lot of meetings and a recruitment visit. There is a possibility that Mike will get to stay on swing shifts, YAY! It really does work the best for us.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Our first trip across the mountains was on Black Friday. We were going over to introduce Olivia to some of the people on my dad's side of the family: Great grandma Cole (Grammy), great aunt Mandy, great uncle Randy, and her second cousin Abie (Randy's daughter). It was so nice to finally have them meet her and Grammy was the last great grandma to meet her. It was a short weekend and we were sad that we could not be there on Thanksgiving Day (as it is my favorite holiday) but it is okay. It turned out to be a special day because the day we went over was the 14th anniversary of my grandfather (my dad's dad) passing away. Without him, Olivia would not be here. We miss and love you so much grandpa!
I had not seen this side of my family since my baby shower in June so it was great to see them. We are slowly making our way down the list of family that Olivia still has to meet. She finally met my grandfather on my mom's side. Now the only great grandparent that she has yet to meet is Mike's grandfather on his dad's side. We will get there! She still has cousins, aunts, and uncles on both sides that she has not met yet. Be patient! We are making our way :)
Auntie Lauren!
She looks like a turkey in this one :)
Time with Grandpa!
First time meeting Grammy! <3
Hanging out with Grandma
Cousins! This is Abie
Abie and Randy with Olivia and me before they took off
Great aunt Mandy!
It was a long drive but baby girl did pretty well. She was away from home and not on a normal schedule and so was fussy but she did it!
Oh my! I cannot believe that I almost forgot to mention this.... So, Olivia has a little caterpillar friend, that I have named Norman for some reason, and she seems to have an attachment to him. Well, when we got to my parents house that Friday, my sisters told us to close our eyes and that they had something for us. So we did. And here it is:
OH MY GOODNESS! Her eyes got so big when she say it! Grandpa Cole called it GiNorman. HAHA! Mike wants to call it Norman Jr. My thought?: Where am I going to put that thing!?! :D It is probably 8ft long! Very soft though and a great cuddle buddy if I say so myself. It is so cute and we love it :)
This blog probably has more photos than words (not really), but Mike and I are gonig to spend some time together tonight baking cookies now that Olivia is down and football is over. Yummy! Milk Chocolate and White Chocolate chip cookies! Hopefully they will turn out this time.
