Welcome to the World!

On Saturday, September 6, 2014, we welcomed our precious baby girl, Olivia Mae, to the world! What a blessing she is to our lives. <3 At 41 weeks, 9lbs 3oz, 21 3/4 inches long, a 13 3/4 inch head, and a head full of hair, Olivia was bigger than any of us expected. The delivery was quite the ordeal. We were surrounded by our family and friends for almost 24 hours from induction of labor to the birth of our child.

We ended up spending about two and a half days in the hospital before we were finally released and were able to take our little one home. How surreal it was to leave the hospital with a little miracle in our care.

With everyone eager to stay updated on how Olivia is doing, we decided to do a blog for our loved ones and friends. It will also be a way for us to document our experience as first time parents!! (Crazy to think). Although we know that we will have some great stories for you all.

As much as we hope to post everyday, it is very unlikely that we will. But we will do our best! Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers and we hope that you enjoy reading about Olivia and our CRAZY adventures and we explore this new chapter in our lives.
