Olivia was a happy girl for most of the morning! Look at her dance moves in the photo below :-) She just hung out and then fell asleep while I cleaned up around the house. When Mike got home we walked to the store to do some grocery shopping and she was content for the whole trip. ** Side story: we were walking down one of the isles and there was a fall walking towards us with a little guy, probably close to 3, in a stroller. As we got within five feet of them we hear the little guy cry out, "a baby!" While sitting with excitement, he threw his arms up and out. So cute! Everyone around just started to giggle from his cuteness.
Stephanie came by for a visit this evening. Thanks lovely! After she left I was chatting with Megan, and Megan reminded me of some ridiculousness (this is where the title comes in).
I do not remember if I shared that I finally went and picked up Olivia's birth certificate the other day, YAY! Well, later that day Mike and I went to the social security office to get her card. She was only covered under my insurance for 21 days. Seeing as it would cost an extra $420 a month to add her to my insurance and an extra $360 a month to add her to Mike's insurance, we are planning to try and get her on state medical. Well, when we got to the social security office I ran into one of my RA's from Whitworth who now works at the social security office. She said that they give the hospital for weeks to get them the paperwork and then another two weeks for delivery of the card. Six weeks!?! So what happens if she gets sick before we can get her insurance? I guess I'm lucky that I have to reschedule her two appointments. And the waiting game begins. We are still confused as to why it takes that long. My friend said we could go in and ask for a denial letter..... no idea what for... why are government agencies so difficult to work with?
But to end on a happy note, Olivia is asleep in her bed, I'm snuggled up in my bed, and I'm realizing that our pumpkin will be a month old next Monday <3
We made it through the day with one outfit! Yay!
Oh my gosh!!! Oh these pictures make my day!!! What a doll- I love her smile.
