Our Little Frumpy, Grumpy, Chunky, Monkey

I welcome with open arms any ideas on how to get a baby to be content without having to feed her every half hour. Even now, I finally was able to rock her to sleep, put her in her bed, and yet here she is screaming through the monitor. I can tell from the sounds that she is trying to suck on her hands. I'll give it a moment to see if she settles down.

It was a long day of a grumpy baby. I couldn't get more than a half hour without her crying and looking like she is hungry. Although she has a very cute pouty face, I gave in so I would not have to see it. Thankfully we just hung out at home most of the day.have to see it.

After Mike got home, I took Olivia to Burlington to find her some outfits for events this weekend. The plan was to then go to the mall to get me some new clothes. However, she decided to scream in the store so the trip was cut short and we went home :( Mike did a great job of swinging her for a while; that is until his arms for tired from curling her like a weight. Taylor stopped by and at some point recommended boucing on my yoga ball. Genius! Well, for a little while anyway. That is how I got her to doze off this last time. And she is still fussing....We did learn tonight that great-grandma Nunes (my mom's mom) willing probably be visiting this weekend! She will be the first great-grandma that Olivia meets. We are so excited! Grandma Mona will also be in town... (interruption! Had to get Olivia to bounce get back to sleep. She is still in my arms)... And we will be able to take a four generations photo. I know that I am excited about it! :-)

Now that it is October, we can get ready for Halloween! Look at these eyes that Mike bought a few weeks ago:
