As I am slowly working my way back into the office, it is nice to know that I can take off whenever I need to get home quickly. I thought I was going to have to today when Mike texted me that Olivia just started screaming bloody murder while they were sleeping. He must be getting the hang of it because that was the end of our conversation. I hope that she is learning to trust him and that they are bonding as he feeds her and changes her. Next goal: get Mike to fold up the diapers before putting them in the Diaper Genie. It is a minor thing so I am not going to make a big deal out of it; especially when he changes her diaper. PERIOD. :D
My coworkers have been understanding when I have short days or when I have to take Pumpkin into the office with me (like I have to do tomorrow). She really is a great baby though and does not get fussy out in public all that often. They have even offered some great advice.
Please pray for us as Mike continues to hunt for a new job and I struggle with having to work when I really just want to be a stay at home mom. One of my coworkers asked if I ever looked into online teaching..... Huh.... No, but I take a look. I mean, don't get me wrong I LOVE my job. Act Six was a huge blessing for me and I care so much about all of the students. It is just that my priorities have changed. So we would appreciate the prayers as we navigate this new chapter of our lives.
When I got home from work today I decided to just stay home for the rest of the day and just spend some time with Olivia while Mike slept. It was great <3 We Skyped with grandma Mona, and aunties Lauren and Kristen. Then I decided to do a photo shoot!
