Thinking will be the Death of Me

To think that I thought I was a thinker before Miss Olivia came into our lives.... that issa joke! I have never had so many thoughts racing through my head. If only I could document all my thoughts throughout the day. Thoughts about best practices for parenting, thughts about how I want to parent vs how I am parenting. Here is a snipit of what is on my mind right now:

~How can I help Olivia sleep?  Is she actually teething? If that isn't the problem what is? Do we not have a good enough schedule? Probably not. Actually I can say no to that.
~We HAVE  to get some life insurance ASAP. And on top of that, we need to write a will and have plans for Olivia. But I don't know if we are ready to think about that. We have to be ready; with Mike almost being killed last year it is necessary.
~There was a bomb threat at one of the high schools in the valley today. Do I want Olivia in public schools? I think I could do a great job of home schooling. Oh wait, Mike doesn't want that.
~Our child is almost standing... STANDING! What comes after that? Walking... What are we going to do when she walks? Nope, not ready for that.
~It is time to start thinking about child care. We will just have to make it work. We are both so drained and tired all the time. Day care or a babysitter? Oh but Olivia's smile is so sweet! I don't want to share her with anyone.
~Is she really ready for a sippy cup like her doctor thinks? Well, we bought them so we might as well try. I can't believe how any bottles of milk that girl as wasted in the last two weeks! Going through baby food to figure out what she likes is so frustrating. You are only supposed to keep the food for two days after opening it.
~I really need to take my coat to the dry cleaners. UGH! Baby spit up...
~All of this is SO worth it! She is so precious and I love her so much.

Oh man, the things I could write; the random connections and jumps that my brain makes.

I have to wait for Mike to get off his computer to put the photos up from my camera. I'll do that tomorrow with her Easter pictures as well :)
