A Wedding on Greenbluff and a Sleepy Baby

Oh what a day! Mom, Kristen, Megan, and Lauren drove over to Spokane at 4am this morning so that they could spend time with Olivia and to attend our friend Ellie Mays (even though it is no longer Mays) wedding. If you do not know the Mays family, they are a family that we grew up with. Between the families there are 12 kids. Ellie makes the third of us all to get married. Olivia makes the third grandchild out of the two families (with Ellie's older sister Kendall due in Feb). I love that no matter how long we go without seeing each other, we are always excited when we get together and act as if no time has passed. It was a beautiful wedding!

Okay okay... I know you just want to hear about our little pumpkin
Today: she slept.

LOL! That really is about it :) Right before the family showed up, I was finishing up feeding Olivia when she decided to spew all over me while simultaneously filling her diaper... -__- I made auntie Megan not only change her diaper, but give her a bath. It cannot be considered mean of me because Megan was more than willing and excited to do so. Olivia did take a nap with her grandma Mona so that mom and aunties could go shopping. What was entertaining was watching the aunties try and figure out what to do to wake her up and to try and get her to stop sleeping. Remember the yoga ball I wrote about the other day? Yeah, they learned all about it's true power today. I had to teach Lauren how to use the binky; that it is okay to put it all the way in Olivia's mouth while she cries and hold it there. Part of the trick is to wiggle it so that pumpkin knows it is there. She slept through most of the wedding also. Pretty sure that she is going through a growth spurt. You know how kids need to sleep so that they can grow! We are very thankful and blessed to have a little girl that sleeps so well. Even though it was a short trip with her grandma and aunties, we will see them again soon and hope that they have a safe trip home! Megan: I know you love to keep up with the blog but put your phone down while you are driving ;)

Mike is switching to graveyard shifts this week so life is going to get interesting. Even though I will not get to see him all that much, we may be able to save on some child care by just switching off watching Olivia when I go back to work. We just gotta do what we gotta do.

As I am writing this, I was moving pictures from my phone to the computer so that I could upload them to the blog. I realized that today alone, I took 79 photos... not wonder my phone runs so slow! All of the storage is taken up by photos. But they really are adorable photos. Mike is just lucky that I do not print photos of each one to keep :D Our house would be full of photos and we would be broke!

Alright, well this will have to do for tonight. I think Mike is really wanting his computer for entertainment as he has to stay up all night tonight. Until the next blog!

Trying to wake baby girl up!

Snuggle time with grandma!

This is probably the most awake she was all day...
