Broken Phone = No Photos

It really is sad that I had to drop my phone; therefore causing it not to work. I have been battling with it the last few days. It would occasionally turn on and then shut off again a short time later. Next time I will move the photos that I do have over to the computer as soon as possible.

This experience has made me realize a few things:

1. A home phone is still necessary. With Mike gone all night with our only car, if something were to happen it would be helpful to have a land line in order to call 911, Mike, my brothers in town, or close friends if needed.

2. Have an actual camera! It is necessary to take photos everyday and if my phone isn't working, then I need a back up. "Why can't you just use Mike's phone?" - you ask? Well, I guess that I could. It will not help me tonight and with the photos that I have taken the last few days. And Mike is a little protective of his phone... and I do not blame him with how many of my phones I have broke as well as his... I love you honey! :)

3. It is important to put your phone (and other electronics) down and live in the moment. Since not having a phone, I find myself actually paying more attention to Olivia and looking directly at her; instead of through a camera lens. (I probably should not even by typing right now as she is wide awake swing in her chair). It has actually been nice not having the distraction of text messages and FB notifications. You only live once! YOLO ..... I know I know... I cannot stand that song either but it is true.

Now, what has been going on the last could of days? Well, on Tuesday our new couch was delivered! We are so excited :) It is a recliner sofa that we got from Mor Furniture.

Olivia has been smiling more the last couple of days and really really likes this duck that I have hanging from her chair. There is also this monkey that plays music when you pull on it. It is becoming obvious that she enjoys music. Even in the car, I have to have music playing in order to help quiet her down at first. She does not like the pink flower head rest that we got for her.

We have discovered that Olivia does not like shopping. Taylor and I took her to Hobby Lobby to grab some items for crafting and Olivia decided to scream the whole time. I told Mike that he is lucky that she doesn't like shopping.. it will save him a lot of money!

AH HA!! MY PHONE JUST TURNED ON! So I am going to stop typing and transfer photos before it shuts off again... hold on...

Playing with Troy after Olivia went to bed

It is a yawn :)

Not always the sweetest baby. This is what you don't always see

Working on those neck muscles!

Yup, bouncing a baby, snuggling a kitty, and watching Family Feud... all while I was supposed to be cleaning :)

She loves her grandma's! All of them <3

A cute new outfit from auntie Megan!

Wow, not long after I moved and uploaded them my phone decided to crash again... at least I got these! I'll post a picture of the new couch later.

Where was I? Oh right, saving money. Well we did save money on the new tires that we got for our car. We also got an oil change and are ready to hit the road bright and early Saturday morning to head to grandma Sheila's house! Mike and I are looking forward to going to the Seahawks game. It should be awesome! Well, my little pumpkin is crying and I need to try some other things to get her to sleep for the night. So until tomorrow!
